Hurt my back on booty day 😩
I’m new to fitness. I’m a petite, thin 19 year old girl who is just trying to learn as she goes but is pretty much going at it alone at the gym. I’m resistance training, mostly working abs, butt, legs, back, and chest. I know i’m really inexperienced but i’ve been doing well (ish) (i think) with that in perspective. Up until yesterday. It was booty/leg day and I really hurt my lower back on the left side. Probably a muscle strain. I’ve always had lower back pain anyway and occasional spasms but yesterday was bad. i could barely move hours later. so to prevent something like that happening again, ...am I allowed to ask the trainers at my gym for help without paying them? I never was sure whether or not that came with the membership or they’re just there for their clients. I can’t afford a personal trainer so I thought I could just do my best alone, but maybe i was wrong. are the trainers there to help anyone? in case the rules are different at different establishments i go to anytime fitness
