Thoughts on a name dilemma!

So my hubby and I have both finally agreed we both like the name ‘Josh’ for our second son. The funny thing is I like JUST the name ‘Josh’ I don’t want the traditional extension ‘Joshua’. My hubby thinks we should name him Joshua anyway and we will shorten it regardless. My thought process is I don’t really like Joshua as a whole and would call him Josh 24/7 so what’s the point of of adding the ‘ua’. It sounds quiet silly but what do you mummas think? Keep in mind my partner is a teacher and we have literally gone through 1,000 of names and have not agreed on any, so if we can’t agree with this one I’m scared 😂
