Birth control, long distance
Do you think its a good idea to get on birth control if in a long distance relationship? I’m in a relationship and don’t see my boyfriend often like every two months. But when we do have sex we use a condom, but I was thinking is birth control better to be on? Cause even though we use protection I’m still afraid of getting pregnant. But at the same time I don’t really know what birth control I would use. I don’t want to gain weight from the birth control, the IUD scares me and I know someone whose IUD made her bleed internally and she ended up losing it, the Nuvo ring also scares me because what if it gets stuck? Also I’m not comfortable putting things down there, I don’t even use tampons. And as for the nexaplanon I heard you can’t lift weights if you have it, and I exercise with weights often. What do you guys suggest? Is it worth getting on birth control? Or just sticking to condoms? Thank you!
