What do I do?

So me and my boyfriend have been together for nearly 3 years and still live with our parents but hopefully want to move in together next year. However my boyfriend who is 21 keeps talking about a child of our own and keeps saying he wants a baby and when will I come off the pill but I’ve told him I’m not ready as I’m only 19 and in my first year of uni and I think having a baby while studying will be a huge distraction. Any advice?

Wait until you're married, living on your own, you both have careers, you both have health insurance and financially stable. It would be extremely irresponsible to have a baby prior.

It sends up red flags for me when someone is insistent on having kids right away when the other person has said no. It shows a clear lack of respect and may be an indicator that they could escalate to birth control tampering. Be careful if you choose to continue this relationship.

Uh first of all tell your boyfriend yall need to work on moving out and getting y'alls own place first. And you will def need a stable/good job for a baby. Newborns are expensive. Pull up on Google how much is my for a new born in the first year then show him. Then maybe he'll change his mind and wait a while until yall are succeeding
