I was bleeding until 7.5 weeks pp, I am now 8.5 weeks pp and just felt confident enough to start wearing nice underwear again and I'm bleeding?? What is this? Am I starting my period even though I'm exclusively breastfeeding or is this revenge of the lochia pt 2?
I'm so sad, why does my vagina hate me?

Same thing happened to me! At 2 weeks post I stopped bleeding then all of a sudden at 5 weeks I started bleeding really heavy and thought it was postpartum bleeding again but my midwife said that it was probably my period! I’m 7 weeks postpartum now and no bleeding again yet. I turned my period prediction back on just in case! I hate messing up underwear and my pants!!🤦🏽‍♀️🙄

It sounds like your period. Breastfeeding doesn't really mean you won't get your period.
