So I’m in need of major help. I just had my son born February 24. Lactation consultant came to my room to discussing the perks and benefits of breastfeeding. My son was born 3 weeks early and had to be in NICU due to low sugar and temp. During his time in NICU he was giving bottles and a pacifier (without my consistent). So, I began using the pump provided to make sure I fall align with my sons eating schedule. Fast forward the milk went from a drop day 1 to filling bottles to 120mil. It’s so much i have 12 frozen bottles already. Now my breast are so engorged. The pain is out this world, they are swollen so bad I feel like they can bust at any moment. I’m in so much pain I cant even sleep. Any suggestions on relief? I’m so over breastfeeding at this moment and want my milk to dry up.
