TTC after an ectopic pregnancy.. suggestions?

Hi everyone! I had an ectopic pregnancy in my left tube in November 2018. We conceived that time after the first month of trying. February 2019 we decided to start trying again and I just got my period :-(. 
We used the clear blue OPK and preseed last month & BD during my entire fertile window. Anyone have suggestions? Who has had an ectopic and how long did it take you to conceive after losing a tube?

Hi Heather,  I’m sorry you had an ectopic pregnancy, hope you’re well now!  
1- Did you have surgery or did you take Methotrexate?
2- Did you have your tube tied or removed?
3- Are your hcg levels back to zero? If so, since when?
I’ll share my experience, although I’m not pregnant yet.  But since you’re just starting TTC this might help you 🤷🏻‍♀️
I got a BFP on my second TTC month in Aug 2018.  I found out super early, a week and a half before AF was due, which is not that normal.  Long story short, initially my HCG levels were growing but not doubling, and because it was too early I had no gestational sac in my uterus.  Based on hcg levels Dr said it was most likely an ectopic.  Since I had no pain, or any other indications that it was an ectopic, my hubby and I decided to wait, because it was too early and tried getting another opinion.  We waited a week and a sac finally appeared in the uterus, however hcg levels were still not doubling and Dr suspected that it was still ectopic, since the sac can surge.  At 6 weeks there was no development, nothing inside the sac and my hcg levels stopped growing.  We then had a D&C, and a methotrexate shot.  
Important: my Dr could not confirm for sure I had an ectopic pregnancy.  It could have been a blighted ovum (empty sac) or just a miscarriage with a pregnancy that didn’t develop.
- It took about a month and a half until my hcg levels went back to zero.
-I had a test called Hysterosalpingogram before TTC again, which you should probably have before TTC since you’ve had an ectopic. The test check if your tubes are clear to avoid future ectopics to happen since this is a life threatening issue
- finally I got clearance from my Dr to start trying again in Nov 2018.
- Nov and Dec cycles were regular
- Jan and Feb cycles became irregular (over 40 CD) 
- No BFPs, but still TTC
I saw a fertility Dr last month and he had mentioned that when you take methotrexate it can prevent you from getting pregnant up until 6 months after

If you don’t get pregnant right away, try not to stress out to much about it.  It takes time for the female body to heal, and you want to make sure the little house is prepared for when you’re ready to conceive.  
One thing I’ve learned from all this is to lay back and let my body do its thing.  Obviously I cut off alcohol, caffeine and drink teas, lots of water and exercise regularly. 
Another learning is to keep track of your monthly patterns and start charting your basal body temperature to help you know exactly when I ovulate, that way I know exactly when AF id due so I don’t get tense.  Also BBT patterns gives me a heads up that AF is coming so I don’t get so disappointed.
