I wouldn’t read much into it. I get spikes in the follicular phase. And it seems to be more pronounced after a run day for some reason. I think it increases my metabolism or something.

Are you temping at the same time each morning AND before you start moving around? You're supposed to do it the moment you wake up with as little movement as possible.
