Car seat insert ???

When can we not use the newborn/preemie insert?

Our baby doesn’t fit in it very well with the insert now. The straps are too low with the insert and she didn’t fit comfortably at all. We recently removed it and she fits much better. She’s about 10 pounds!

My car seat (Chico keyfit) says 10 pounds I believe. Like others said, it should be in the manual. Mine is actually on the side of the car seat too.

My Manuel doesn’t have anything except you can use it if desired or not. That’s why I was curious. Thanks for y’all input. ☺️

Definitely read the manual. Our carseat let's you use the insert as long as the straps are on the two lowest settings. Our convertible let's you use the newborn insert on the lowest 3 strap settings.
