For my first child I never thought this would be as nice and easy as it was.

I was 40 weeks as of monday 2/25/19 which was my daughter due date. I had started to have contractions that day at my friends house. So they called 9-1-1 for me. As I went into the hospital in ambulance, my fiance met me there. We was there til 5pm that day and I was only dilated 2cm.

So now once home, I took a nap. And once awake I spoke to my fiance and we decided to have sex to maybe help with pushing on labor. Right after, i started having more intense contractions. They were 3-5 minutes apart. So we ate and called up the birthing center at the hospital, they made me shower and see after 30 minutes to see if they stopped or not because as they explained, if they stopped it was braxton hicks if they didnt stop they were the real deal. Me being in so much pain, i did everything I was told and then went for a walk with my fiance as the contractions never stopped and so i called the birthing center back and explained the pains still didn't stop. They told me to go ahead and come on in. We then called 9-1-1 for the ambulance and then my parents to let them know what was happening. This is what my parents told me to do when i went into labor. My parents met us there and we got into my room at 2:00am 2/26/19.

Once hooked up and everything after a while they said I was in early labor but they kept me til morning to see what my obgyn says. Once it was 8:00am and nurse shift changed happened I got told I was staying as I made change and was 5cm dilated. As I was admitted and waited on my epidural I was so excited. I then got the epidural at 1:30pm and had my water broke at 2:00pm. I kept falling asleep most of it to get rest for my pushes.I was finally 10cm at 4:45pm. Once that happened my nurse got me to push I cried and groaned. I was pushing til the doctor finally came and he had cut me down to my butt as I pushed her the rest out. Her shoulder had gotten stuck in me but everything was OK.
