PSA- Don’t be a dummy use protection
To anyone listening,
I have recently had an STD scare. I had sex with someone in December and two weeks later there was a red spot on my Libia. It was there from December to February and the whole three months I was worried. Worried to the point that I was researching every night what herpes looked like (because I got tested the end of December because I had never been tested before all my test came back negative thank god but they do not test for herpes)
I worried about every little bump or white mark down there and inspected daily and inspected my lips. I don’t know how many times I freaked out crying to my best friends professing that I had herpes and she kept assuring me that it probably wasn’t that. She is in nursing school. So finally I went to planned parenthood and the dr. Looked at the red spot that had for months been red then skin colored and then dry skin looking. She said that she has seen every std in person and I didn’t have one. And I didn’t have anything to worry about!
After hearing that I was relieved!
Clean!
So to who ever is still listening in....
I know sex feels great with out the condom even for a minute with out it! But let your mental and physical health be at the front of your mind when you are having casual sex with people!
Don’t be stupid. Ask the right questions: has your partner had an std before, have they been tested, have they been with a member of the same sex. Ask the questions for your protection!
I know herpes is a big deal and not one at the same time there is a lot of stigma for the virus but to change the way that you live because you wanted to please someone else or please yourself for that short lived sexual desire
