I’m 38+5 and since about the 30 week mark, my bp has been all over the place and I’ve been consistently monitored for possible preeclampsia. Sometimes my bp is good and sometimes it’s bad. I’ve also had pretty consistent proteinuria. My last appointment was Thursday and my bp was 140/80. Not great but also not terrible. I know my doc wants to induce me but my cervix is “closed and thick”, therefore, “not inducable” unless completely necessary.

Anyway, the last couple days I just don’t feel right. I know that sounds so vague but I honestly don’t know how to describe it. It’s not usual pregnancy discomfort and fatigue. I go through constant spells of feeling lightheaded and literally like I can’t lift my arms or move. So yesterday I was at Walmart and used their bp machine and it told me my bp was 155/87. It worried me but I always question the accuracy of the machines at the store. Today I’ve been feeling the worst thus far and decided to check my bp on the machine at my local grocery store and when I did it ranged from 148/87 to 154/90.

I’m not showing any of the other characteristic signs of pre-e like right side rib pain, lasting headache, or visual disturbances.

I don’t see my doc again until Tuesday for an NST. Should I call about what I’m experiencing now?
