Anyone have the IUD and have this issue?

I’ve had my IUD in now for eight months now. I may have my “period” every couple of months when I do have my periods. There’s no cramps no really blood at all. Maybe something on the toilet paper when I wipe but that’s it. The last few days I’ve had some really intense cramps only on one side of my lower abdomen. Has anyone else experience something similar? The cramps are so intense at times to where I can’t even move.

If it doesn't go away, I would call your OB & make an appt just in case it's turned or slipped somewhere it shouldn't. They can do an ultrasound to see it.

It could potentially be an ectopic pregnancy or a complication with the iud. Call your OB

I had my IUD in for 4 years after the first few months I stopped getting my period. Once every other month I would get spotting for a few days and cramping. The cramping would feel like full on cramps before a period but I’d never get an actual period. It would hurt but only last a day or two. If it persists I would go back to the GYNO.

Anyone have the IUD and have this issue?
