Can you get a piercing while pregnant?

I’ve been planning on getting my nose pierced for awhile but I just found out I’m pregnant. I know tattoos are a definite no but I’m not so sure about piercings. Should I just wait until after I give birth?

Just wait because you’ll be more prone to infection and it’ll take longer to heal.  It could go fine but might not too.

I actually got mine pierced when I was 1-2 weeks pregnant and didn’t know it at the time. I’ve had it for almost 8 months now and it’s still not completely healed and it was a nightmare the first 6 months honestly because I had a bump around the piercing. I would recommend on just waiting because it’s not worth the risk of infection and the healing process is so much longer. I had my nosed pierced like 8 years ago and being pregnant while it’s healing is way worse.

I got mine pierced not knowing i was pregnant and it got VERY infected and painful. I wouldn’t. Your body will try to reject it.

None of my shops would pierce or tattoo a pregnant woman— they actually make you sign a waiver that says you aren’t pregnant

Yes you can get a piercing while pregnant, and yes even if it’s a reputable piercer, and they know you’re pregnant, they’ll still pierce you. It’s not like you are getting your nipples or something super sensitive done. And if you just found out you’re pregnant, I doubt you’re showing. You’ll be fine I got my ears pierced while pregnant.
