Is 7 weeks too early to see a heartbeat on an ultrasound?

I'm just wondering cuz I have my first ultrasound and OB appointment on March 12. I'm super nervous I just want our baby to be safe and healthy. I keep worrying something is wrong. Can anyone relate? I hope we get good news and nothing else.

Not stealing this post but thank god for these responses! I thought I was 7w and measured 6w3d and I was emotional that I was going to have another mc (dr is happy I am just nervous!) 
I saw baby’s HB at 100.. so no not too early! My daughter was 6w1d and we saw her hb at 99!

I saw our heartbeat Friday through a transvaginal ultrasound. I was 6w6d. It was amazing to see it fluttering! We weren’t able to hear it though, which I just assumed was because it wasn’t an abdominal with the doppler

Did you guys see a heartbeat with a transactional ultrasound or regular external one? I'm curious how soon people are seeing heartbeats with the regular external ultrasounds. Thanks!

Nope. Saw ours at exactly 7 weeks.

i just saw mine. i thought i was 7 weeks but baby was measuring 6 w 1 d and we heard and saw heartbeat! hope the same for you (:

I saw my daughter’s at 6+1!

I just saw mine at 6w5d (thought I was 7w2d but measured a bit smaller) and it was beating beautifully
