Is insomnia a pregnancy thing?

Im only 7 weeks 5 days but i just cant sleep!! I have a 1 year old and im always up early and running round all day and i just cant fall asleep at night atall till around 3/4am 😭😭😭

Yes its a thing. Thats why I take a low dose of benadryl to get me to sleep. It also works for my rhinitis.

I have insomnia in regular life and pregnancy made it way worse! My dr has me on unisom for nausea and it really helps me sleep at night! I would give your dr a call!

Yes it is, i have it so bad that some night i get to sleep around 2am.. i did have this issue before the baby so its hard to tell if hormones are making it worse. This is my second and with my first i didnt have this at all. I was so tired id fall right asleep with a unisom so idk why this one is so different. But heres what i try, i stay up until 9-10 when I actually feel tired and then take my unisom and b6 the dr gave me, wait 30 mins and if im not asleep i add melatonin which my doctor said was safe to use. I think my gummies are 3mg. Good luck 👍🏻

I cannot sleep either. Benadryl, unisom and chamomile teas are not helping. I’m beyond desperate! Weeks of not getting proper sleep...
