My 4mo fights sleep; worries for upcoming travel.
My 4 month old gets enough sleep (13-15hours a day), eats well (900-960ml/30-32oz), isn’t gassy - his tummy isn’t hard, has regular poops... but all this means nothing when it’s time to go to sleep apparently. He screams and fights for a good 20 minutes until he finally starts to fall asleep. Even then I’m not in the clear.. he abruptly stirs himself awake and we gotta start all over again. Sometimes waking himself up 2-3 times until he’s actually asleep. This has actually been going on for a couple weeks now off and on.
I’m worried about what’s going on..
Also, I fear (I have terrible social anxiety) he will cry a lot on my international flight from where I currently live, Japan, to San Francisco. We are leaving Japan temporarily to escape my abusive husband.
In my head I’m panicking because babies on planes are something so many have vocalized to be annoying, a nuisance, and often I hear people ridicule the mom.
I guess, I’m all over the place on this so..
1. How do I get my 4mo to fall asleep and stay asleep / not cry and scream for 20-30 minutes.. ?
2. Any tips for international travel with a baby?
