2 car seats or 1?

So we bought on sale a car seat for our baby but we both work and there will be times where we have to drop her at my mom's house until one of us can pick her up. Would it be alright just having that one car seat for both of our cars or buy a stroller that also included a car seat so each car has a car seat?

If you are using an infant seat, just buy another base, and leave the seat with baby. 
If you have a convertable seat, yes you need two seats

If its in infant get a second base. If it's a seat that doesn't come out I'd get 2 seats. We got 2 carseat for my middle and 2 boosters for my older so we had one on each vehicle and didn't have to constantly move them around

Definitely.👌🏾 I work from home, but it's still convenient for my husband and I to have three car seats because we have three cars. When our daughter was in her infant seat, we only had one seat, but we had three bases. Now that she is in convertible seats, we have one for each car. It's just easier.👌🏾

I already know that I have interest in reinstalling a car seat every day. We have a base for each car and just the seat will go wherever the baby is and he will clock into the base. It seems like the easier route for us.

If it’s an infant one I would say get a second base. Those seats don’t technically need bases but it’s easier and i believe to some degree a little safer. If you want convenience, I would say get two if you are using convertible. But if you don’t want to spend the extra money you could just take it out and leave it at your moms for your husband to pick up with the baby.
