First attempt at potty training: I sit him on the potty seat. He gets up and says it’s too cold. Lol. So then he closes the lid and pees on top of it 😂😂

Any tips for potty training a boy? He’s almost 18 months and super smart. He knows the difference between his butt and his peepee and is always wanting to try new things. Plus, I’m tired of diapers lol.

Should I get puppy pads for my bathroom floors?

Should I start with standing up for peeing or sitting down?

His dad is not a very active parent (we’re not together) and he only sees him for a few hours every week. So I’m kinda on my own with this.

Oh and if you’re going to tell me to wait until he is ready, please don’t comment. I believe he is ready and I’d rather not wait.
