Does your 8 year old take baths or showers?

Just curious. My son always wants to take a bath but he always leaves the bathroom wet. So instead of me getting frustrated I only let him take a bath on the weekend...

8 year old should be able to do a quick mop on the floor afterwards.  Just tell him he has to clean up after he takes a bath.

He is old enough to understand when you say I know you our to take baths and if you can't do getting the floor wet then you have to take a shower, if you want to take a bath then don't get the floor wet.

He usually chooses & i don't have any problem as long as he cleans up after himself. Im trying to teach him being responsible & helping around the house.
