Tests?

Question

Has anyone had some sort of test done to figure out if there is something wrong ? I have had two miscarriages and I want to get tested to make sure I'm okay but I don't know what kind of tests need to be done, I will talk to my doctor but just wanted to see if anyone has done anything? TIA

Genetic blood testing of me and my husband. And they tested my blood for blood clotting disorders. My acupuncturist suggested getting tested for mthfr mutation (affects ability to process folic acid), my doctor agreed to run the test but it’s not covered by insurance. I had a possible blood clotting issue, low progesterone, low vitamin d, and mthfr mutation. So my doctor put me on blood thinner shots, baby aspirin and progesterone. I also took extra vitamin d and I switched my prenatal to one with methylated folate (natural and more absorbable form of folic acid) and took extra methylated folate (per my doctors rec).  I had two miscarriages in about 5-6 months, but got pregnant the third time 4 months later (after all the testing) on our first try and had a healthy baby.

Answer

I got a genetic test done to see if that caused anything. They said it takes 10 - 14 business days
