FET day 5 Negative HPT

I know they say you shouldn’t test early but I really couldn’t help myself. We had one successful FET 2 years ago that resulted in our son and for that one i tested on day 5 past 5-day embryo transfer and got a very faint positive. Today was day five and my hope was so high for a similar result but there was absolutely no sign of that second pink line this morning. How many of you tested early and got no result on day 5 but positives on later dates? I’m trying to hold onto hope but it’s fading quickly.
