4d ultrasound...worth $150?

My clinic doesn’t offer 4d ultrasounds meaning I’ll have to pay out of pocket at a private clinic to get one. The nearest clinic that offers them charges $150 for a 20 minute session. Would you say they’re worth it? I’m dying to get one but I don’t know if I should. I’m 27 weeks if that makes any difference.

If you’re going to do it, I’d wait until you’re a little further along. But ultimately I’d say that’s super expensive for 20 minutes. If you have the money though go for it 🤷🏻‍♀️ you’ll only be pregnant with that child once

This sounds bad maybe but it’s my experience so.... I was having a really hard time “bonding” with baby. Like I was excited we were pregnant and all that but idk it just wasn’t immediate love I guess?? 
Moral of the story we had a 3d/hd done at 29 weeks it was $125 for 20 mins, a heartbeat bear, and digital prints. Seeing his little face on the screen just instantly connected me. If you have the money- do it. You won’t regret it. It’s nice having a face to put with all that you are going through.

27 weeks is a good time to go actually. They recommend 28-32 but I got one at 27 weeks and saw my son just fine.
I’m going get another this week for my daughter and I’ll be 32 weeks and paying $99 for 20 mins.
It’s a cute little surprise to get a sneak peek of what they look like before they’re born. But if you are going to struggle then I wouldn’t pay $150. If it’s not a hassle to pay that much then I’d say it’s worth it. Did you look at cities surrounding your area?

I think 3D and 4D ultrasounds look creepy, like Claymation from the 80s.

People have waited to see their baby’s until birth since the big inning of time. One of the few sweet surprises left in life. I’d wait to see when baby’s born!

I went to find out my gender at 14 weeks but the also gave me 3d/4d pictures and cd of the ultrasound. Mine cost with altogether 123.00.
I will be going back around 27-30 weeks to get another 3d. I totally think mine was worth it because I also got a heartbeat that I can put in a bear. 
If they give you extra stuff like mine did I would say go for it!

I wanted one with this baby since she is my last one (4th baby) but the more I think about it the more I want to wait bc then it takes the surprise away seeing them for the first time but all the private clinics around here are basically the same price between 130-200 depending on what package you get but if you are going to do it I would wait a couple more weeks 😊
