Has anyone had a Vanishing Twin?!?

I had my first ultrasound today.. I am measuring @ 6 weeks..  I had two embryo sacks, one w a baby w a steady heart beat and the other sack was just an empty yolk.. has anyone else experienced this????  I didn’t get a ultrasound picture w the empty sack but here’s my sweet little sweet pea!! ❤️

Yes at five weeks we had two sacs and at seven weeks sac b was the same with nothing in it and sac A has a baby with a heartbeat. Hoping baby a is a strong sticky little been

Yes but mine is visible on my 7 week 4day us. Same sac 2 babies only one with a heart beat. My doc actually called it a chronic bump bc a vanishing twin is hard to decipher if not caught early enough. But my doc also is making me get another us in 2 weeks to see if baby absorbs the other other baby. She also wrote in notes that miscarriage rate is now much higher and I’m praying that’s not the case i will be crushed. Praying for a healthy 9 months and a healthy baby 🙏🏼

Yes, I have. We found out around 12-14 weeks that we had a vanishing twin. We now have a beautiful and healthy 7 month old baby girl.

Yes this happened to me.  I was around 5 weeks.  But everything tuned out just fine with the twin that was there.  He is nearly 16 months old now.

Yes I had the same at 6 weeks. I’m 15 weeks and 1 day today and the the other yolk sac finally seems to be gone. I’ve been bleeding/spotting for 8 weeks (stopped a week ago) - our ‘our’ baby is during great 🙏🏼

Mine is a vanishing triplet! I have 3 sacks, 2 with babies and 1 empty sack. The little black spot in the middle is the 3rd.

We had this. We actually thought I was having a miscarriage but it was just the “abnormal” sac breaking down.
