If you had a growth scan or doc gave you an estimated weight of baby, was it/were they correct when baby was born?

This can clearly be for any baby you ever had but curious to see who has a baby close to what they were measuring at by growth scan or by doctor estimating. I was measured at 6lbs 10 oz today at 37+2 however my first daughter was born at 36 at 4lbs 15 oz. Personally I do not believe that this baby is close to what they are saying. I'm actually giving a big side eye 😏Because she would also be bigger than my husband when he was born. I know I know, it can be off by 2lbs, so just curious to see what others experienced.

With my first they estimated him to be 8lbs at my 36 weeks scan so he should’ve been about 10 lbs at birth. He was born at 6.7pounds lol. My second was estimated to be small and he came out at 8.7 pounds. So they’re not correct for me. This one they predict will be 8 to 9 lbs at birth and I find that to be realistic based on my second sons weight.

They told my sister in law 7 pounds.. he came out 10.5! Lol he had a lot of health issues though (genetic in utero) so maybe that’s why they thought he would be small. Boy were they wrong. 😂

My first they estimated about 8.5 pounds. She was 8lbs 9oz
This time he’s measuring a little higher than my first so they’re estimating 9lbs. And I think they’re about right   Have to wait and see

Ive never understood why some doctors  give you weight estimates, they can be off by 3 lbs in either direction. I’m on my 4th pregnancy and I’ve never once been told how much my kids estimated weight was with any of them.

Was told my girl could be between 8-10lbs technically. 
She estimated at 6lbs at 34 weeks, so if I did the math about her it could have been between there. My doctor is the conservative, let's not panic, kind of doctor and told me 8-9lbs. She was born weighing 7lbs 11oz at full term. 
She just has really long legs 😂
My dd2 was estimated at 4lbs 4oz at 32.5 weeks, and I can't wait to know how much she weighs! Lol

My first was accurate. End of wk 37 they estimated 5lbs 14oz, she was born 39+2 6lbs 3.8oz.  This child inside me is waaay larger, I think, and I finally have a scan tomorrow am at 37+1 to get an idea! Can’t wait.

I was told roughly 6.5-7 lbs, but my doctor told me it’s just an estimate. I found it really nice to know that my little ones growing :)

With my first my doctor told me my daughter would be no bigger than 6 pounds the growth scan 1 day before I gave birth said 7 pounds 
She was born 10 days passed her due date at 8pounds 1 onz

With my first my OB said if I deliver on my due date baby would be about 6.5lbs. I went 9 days over and my son was 7.0lbs even! So he was bang on!

With my first they said she would be bigger around 9lbs. I went two weeks past my due date and she was still only 7lbs 6oz..
