Why does she take forever to text back?

My best friend takes forever to text back. Mind you I always see her on instagram liking or posting but she never responds to my messages until hours later. I understand she has a life of her own and can be busy sometimes but it’s just annoying knowing she has her phone in her hand but doesn’t bother responding until hours later.

So I do this to my best friend. She does the same to me. sometimes your mental health can allow for only so much interaction. I can be fine to scroll and post meaningless crap/like things, but I don't have the capability to hold up a conversation. I get how annoying it can be sometimes when you see they're online and you're waiting on a response. I'm sorry. but yeah..maybe she's just not able to handle a conversation right now.
