Contractions

Ja

Janna • Mama to a handsome little man and ttc #2❤️

So I just got home after spending 6 hours in the hospital (again) I’ve had issues before with contractions. But thankfully the other times, I had some sort of infection that was causing them. This time, everything came back good! The stronger and worse they got, my nurse gave me meds to stop them. Unfortunately that didn’t work at all, I felt them get worse. She checked me 3 times and I was still closed. I had drank 3 bottles of water before I went in , within a matter of 2 hours. They decided to push a liter of iv fluids, which didn’t help. They let me go home, (per my OB who was on today) surprisingly. So now I’m stuck at home with contractions and no explanation 😣 I’ll be 35 weeks tomorrow. Anyone else have anything similar?

I hope they stop for you too! It was terrible to me and the dr literally said there’s nothing he could do try Tylenol 😐😐😐 id say sleep as much as you can until they stop idk if the rest helped me or what but worth a try only a few more weeks to go though 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Ugh I hope these stop. They hurt and are so uncomfortable on top of the uncomfortableness I’m already in😣 I came back home and slept on and off for a few hours.

I’ve been in L&D twice in the past two and a half weeks because of contractions for no reasons. I had them 3-5 min apart but I’m still high thick and closed. I was well hydrated and no infections. The only thing they can think of is increased amniotic fluid which mine is 0.4 over the normal limit.
