Have you had a relationship with someone you thought would just be a one-night-stand (ONS)?

Two weeks ago, I met this guy at an after party and we had sex after talking for 5 hours. Before even hooking up, I’d never felt so connected to someone. 
In the morning I thought he’d leave but we had sex multiple more times and then he asked if I was hungry. I thought he’d leave after lunch but then we laid around and had MORE SEX!
The next day I spent the night, which was a work night, and we’ve been inseparable since. We’ve gone to a private concert together and traveled out of the city to the mountains together since. 
It’s only been two weeks! Crazy, right? But I am so into him and we communicate so well. We are trying to get to know each other and go with the flow as much as possible without forcing things to go too fast or pushing each other away because it happened so fast.
Is this normal, an unhealthy thing that I should be cautious about, or a special rare thing I should hold onto?
