Can you return registry items without receipt from target?

Does anyone know if you can return items from your registry is you don’t have the receipt? I got 3 of the same baby carriers and I don’t really have a need for them. Would I need the receipt?

I didn’t have a receipt and gift wasn’t from registry, he asked me if I had one I said yes he scanned and I got store credit

Yes if it is on your registry! Just print out your registry and they use that instead of a receipt.

I think so. Mine does, you can call the store in your area. They just give you a credit instead of cash.
