Scheduled csection after pre eclampsia

I’m having my first scheduled csection in June after having an emergency csection five years ago with my daughter. On top of having hypertension and pre eclampsia, she was also breech. Not only that but this time around I have gestational diabetes. From what I’ve seen a lot of doctors schedule the surgery for 39 weeks but was wondering if anyone else who has had similar complications in past pregnancies had to deliver earlier than that. My doctor really hasn’t said anything to me so I’m going to ask at my next appointment but just wanted to get some insight here. I’m currently 23w5d so I know its early but I hate the unknown.
