After birth underwear?

This may be a weird or silly question but what kind of underwear do I wear after giving birth? I know the hospital gives you mesh underwear things to just throw away after you wear them but what happens when they are gone? There’s a pretty good chance I’ll have to have a csection so I want something that won’t irritate the incision, but also something that will hold all the blood and whatever else comes out after my little girl is born. Should I buy more of the mesh underwear online? Or should I get granny panties? What did everyone else wear when they got home?
