First ultrasound today

I had my first ultrasound today since I have a history of miscarriages. I’m somewhere in week 5...either exactly 5 weeks or up to 5+4 depending on when I ovulated. Didn’t get much other info than that since we didn’t see baby or heartbeat yet. Going back on Monday - but there’s still a chance they won’t see anything, especially if I am actually just 5 weeks today. If nothing Monday, then next Friday.

So much anxiety and anticipation for me, considering my miscarriages. So much waiting. I’m just hoping we see something Monday since I’m going out of town until Thursday and wouldn’t want that anxiety of not knowing during a long conference week.

Ugh.
