How to deposit money to teller?

-made an account with chase a few days ago 
need to deposit $1600...am I supposed to give it to the teller in an envelope? Do I have to fill out a deposit slip before I give it to the teller? Lol HELP

Yes you fill out a deposit slip beforehand. If it’s cash they will count it in front of you too. I would go inside to do it with that much.

The other responses are right but I just want to say: Never ever be afraid to just tell an employee anywhere (airport, bank, hospital, electric company, cable company, dmv) “I don’t know what I’m supposed to do but this is what I’m trying to do. Can you help me?” It’s their job to help and there is no shame in saying you need it. Once I stopped being embarrassed to say that new adulting things were a lot easier to figure out 😁
