I'm almost 3 days late, going in cycle 12 of TTC. Cautiously optimistic, but don't want to get my hopes up. At what date past due do you typically spring for a test?

Update: Still haven't tested at day 5....a year with many false hopes, I just don't want to be disappointed. However, still no period and I feel like I have the flu and the worst pms(achy, sore, bloated, upset tummy, headache and super emotional). Lol. Going to take one today. 😁
