Toothpaste for toddlers

I have a 20 month old and we have been using Toms Kids brand fluoride free (xylitol) toothpaste. She hates having her teeth brushed and isn’t verbal yet so I do the best I can. She has a dentist appointment at 24 months so I haven’t heard anything yet about how her teeth are doing. I assume a fluoride treatment may be done at her 2 year check? I just don’t want her swallowing it all the time and open to hearing what you all do with your toddlers oral health
