Would you have a gender/sex reveal party?

I'm a FTM I'm weighing the options what do you ladies think?

I enjoy seeing other peoples parties and I think they are cute but I am not having one, my husband and I can't imagine our friends and family care "that" much for us to spend time and effort on a party. We are just telling people as we see them and that has been fun too 😊

We had one :) waited to find out with all our loved ones and my brother recorded. Unfortunately my husband got called into work before the cake cut, but I was able to face time him. Next time we are gonna do a smaller reveal at our archery range where I will shoot a balloon and find out

We're not finding out the sex until birth, and we plan on not gendering the baby (both of us have gender peculiarities). Even if their gender matches their sex neither of us want to pressure them into thinking they have to be a certain way because if societal stereotypes.

I did it was so much fun ! We found out the sex with the family! We were a bit surprised it was another girl so that was the only thing lol! The face e made on camera was crazy

I really don't understand people's desire for sex reveal parties. We are waiting until birth to know our baby's sex and even then we won't know gender for a few years (gender identity develops at 3-5 years). The longer I can put off gender expectations, the better!

I plan on revealing mine in my birthday cake on my birthday the week of thanksgiving. Since that's when my sister will be in town. No party. Just dinner with my family :) I don't see a reason in having 2 big parties for baby. We will already have to do a Hlu pliig (Hmong ceremony) for baby after it is born. Which is the equivalent to a christening but 100x bigger!

I'm planning on having a dessert or something for the reveal. I don't think it has to be a full blown party to be a fun reveal.

With my first, I just had a normal shower. With my second, we did a gender reveal breakfast. I put the gender in homemade fortune cookies. It was just super small and something fun. We knew the gender going into the reveal though, so it wasn't the usual but still fun.

This time we aren't finding out. We want it to be a surprise.

Will I regret not doing the sex reveal? There's a lot of gender pressure on my unborn child so I'm not sure if I should do it or not 😕
