Hey everyone!

I’m looking to chat with other Mom’s that are high risk due to a blood clotting disorder.

I lost 2 babies back to back before finding out about my blood issue. Then got pregnant with baby #3. My pregnancy went smoothly but my labor and delivery was pretty traumatic. My high risk doctor said that we had to induce at 38 weeks, obviously with it being 2 weeks early and my first full term pregnancy my baby wasn’t ready at 38 weeks. Pitocin was not handled well and after over 24 hours I got stuck at a 9 and ended up having an awful C-section.

I’m currently pregnant with baby #4 and do not want to go through the same kind of labor/delivery, if possible. Basically, I’m trying to gather information and possible options based on others experiences. I know everyone is different, just trying to gather knowledge so I can discuss options with my OB and MFM doctor.

Edit: I understand that babies are considered full term at 38 weeks. What I meant by “my baby wasn’t ready” was that he wasn’t ready to be born yet-as in I wasn’t in even early stages of labor or even dilated to a 1 cm at the time of induction.
