When due they estimate baby birth weight?

I'm very curious about when the doctor will calculate my babys birth weight. Iv only have 2 ultrasounds. One at 10 weeks other at 20 week. Almost 28 weeks and curious when they will do it and how accurate it is.

I'm 37 weeks almost and they've never done this for me. I don't even understand how you could really lol

This is my third and I've never had an ultrasound past 24 weeks. And it also can be up to 2 pounds off

With my first they told me (36 weeks US) that she was weighing around 7.4 oz and she was born weighing 6.1!

Not accurate, up to 2lbs off. Most women won’t get another ultrasound, only if you’re high risk usually. The dr can feel baby to see if they’re in position, they don’t need ultrasound.

Usually they check weight at ultrasound that most have around 34 weeks to check the baby’s position.  But only certain women have this scan.  I’ve had it, but have seen multiple women on the app say they’re obgyn doesn’t give any more ultrasounds after the 20 week scan.  It depends on your doctor and what your insurance covers as well.

I saw the dr today they wont due an ultrasound unless the baby is measuring to big or small. They measure how big by there hands apparently
