3-yr old son scrotum/testicle question

My son's pediatrician said today that my son's testicles seem normal in size and are descended properly and in the normal spot. BUT that he has an "immature" scrotum that is too tight and small and not allowing for the proper space for his testicles. She is referring us to a urologist. Has anyone had a son with anything like this? Any insights from any parents going through something similar? Or any men on the app have this? Don't know what to think! I will update when we go to the specialist.....
