Food tips?

I see people feeding their babies spaghetti and foods like that. How do you know your babies ready? Mine chews and does really well with puffs. What’s a good starter food?

We started BLW with banana. You can really do any veggie or fruit as long as they are cooked to be soft enough or ripe. Also whole grain toast with a thing layer of peanut butter is a good starter and my daughters favorite to this day 😁. Here's her eating haha. Mind you she has been doing BLW for a month but they catch on fast. Do some research and just keep an eye on them at all times.

If your baby is doing well w purées I’m sure you can start adding something w a little more consistency, I gave my daughter spaghetti not too long ago she did well I just don’t let her have any meat w it yet, she also loves belvita  banana soft bakes(they have different flavors I just have a ton of those rn), maybe try those & see how your baby does? (08/19/18 DOB)

We’re doing BLW and basically feeding anything that we can easily squish between our fingers, which is a good approximation of what our toothless babes can bite.
This is my six month old eating baked carrots and (super) ripe cantaloupe.

I'm still doing purees... Do I need to move onto something more solid? Girl only has two teeth...

I give my daughter bite or licks of what I am eating. I just tear off a piece and hand it to her, or put fruit in those fresh fruit feeders
