Did you just know that you were pregnant with twins?

Just wondering if you felt extreme symptoms or anything different to make you think you were pregnant with twins or were you completely shocked? I don’t have my first scan until next Friday, but I’ve just had this feeling that it’s twins. No extreme symptoms but it does feel like my stomach is expanding way quicker! Interested to hear y’alls stories!

No idea. Went in for an ultrasound and they told me I was having twins

I had no idea until my ultrasound. Many people post on here that they have a feeling they’re having twins, but we never hear from most of them again so I guess not 🤷‍♀️ You tends to show quicker with subsequent pregnancies. In the first few weeks your baby is the size of a seed or whatever so there’s not a lot of difference between 1 or 2 seeds 😂 From about 13 weeks I think you can visibly tell the difference if you know what to look for (at least an ER doctor was able to tell with me at that stage).

I had NO clue. I didn’t have many symptoms...no morning sickness. This is my first pregnancy. Twins do run heavy in our families.

I guessed it! Third pregnancy (lost the first two) and my symptoms were so much more intense I felt so different. My HCG was also off the charts, which for some women it’s not an indication, but it was for me. Had an ultrasound at the ER at 6w6d bc of spotting, and before we even started I asked the tech if there were 2. There were❤️❤️

Nope no idea. This was my 5th pregnancy and it was the same as any of my other pregnancies as far as symptoms. Then my ultrasound showed two babes.
