Opinions? Does this sound like a bad idea?

My boyfriend and I are both 18. We dated for 2 amazing years. We had the most loving, loyal relationship and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. We were madly in love and still are, but we’re growing up now. He joined the military and I’m going to college. The last few months of our relationship were filled with stress & crying & fear for the future. He broke up with me, and immediately regretted it. We spent a few weeks apart but quickly realized splitting up was a mistake. Then we spent about a week hanging out crying to each other every day about how badly we love & need each other. Ever since then, we’ve just been loving & laughing & enjoying our time together with no label on our relationship. We have about 4 months until we officially go our separate ways, and we’re still figuring out if it’s worth staying together through all the distance. He’s not sure how long he’ll be in the military. It will be at least 4 years, but could be up to 10. I’ll be in college for 5 years. I just don’t know if that lifestyle is worth it. I want to get married and have kids. But he wants to live out an awesome career first & I fully respect that. We’re thinking about just keeping our relationship the way it is? No labels, just 2 best friends in love. That way there’s no pressure on our relationship. We’ll just live out our years of college/military with no specific plans and just see where life takes us. Do you think this sounds like a bad idea? Should we just choose one or the other (breaking up or staying together). We’re really lost & could really use any advice you guys have ❤️ thank you
