BF affecting menstrual cycle?

I'm almost at 6 months EBF and am wondering about period cycles... I got my first period PP in January. That cycle was about 31 days since the next period began Feb 14. I average about 31-35 day cycles so I thought maybe my body regulated itself already. However, I just started my period again a few days ago which made it a 17 day cycle which weirded me out 😫🤔 I thought it was just some spotting but it became a little heavier and went from dark brown to some pink/red. I don't remember my periods being super irregular after my first baby, but with this 2nd baby, I'm EBF. Would BF have anything to do with it? TIA!
