My son is 12 days old and before we left the hospital the dr did his circumcision. He did used a plastic ring and said it will fall off on its own. Well last night when i was changing his diaper I saw it was off but the plastic was still hanging off the side of his penis. I don't want to pull it because it's still attached and since i see through it I can see his skin is still pink like its a fresh cut or something under the ring. If that makes sense. I noticed the penis is a bit swollen and was bleeding a tiny bit. Im so worried. I called the newborn clinic where he had his 2 day check up and the dr said it was fine. And to not pull it because it will "pull off the scab" ? I feel horrible when I change him because i know it hurts him. Its hanging off on the right side and his right leg sticks straight out and he cries in pain for a bit after a diaper change. 😭😭😭😭 anyone having boys experience this? No rude comments please. Ima call the dr again tomorrow and see if i can come in so they can look at it.
