edibles

I ate an edible for the first time the other day and when I ate it I was like really emotional. I was obviously laughing a lot but my friends would say they didn’t like a dog or something and id start crying immediately. Then I couldn’t remember how to spell my name too💀but my “high” only lasted for like an hour. Was I fucked up for it to be my first time? Was this normal for a first timer?
