Girls, DO NOT TAKE THE DEPO PROVERA SHOT! I was very dumb and got it without looking at any reviews or side effects in January 8th, 2019. On February 24th I started bleeding heavily and having orange sized blood clots well it didn’t stop there it only got worse including the bleeding I was going through one super plus tampon and a maxi pad every thirty minutes to an hour but finally on the 28th I went to the ER because I was so weak and almost passed out a number of times. WELP, turns out my right ovary had ruptured and I was bleeding internally and my uterus was 2X the normal size because of those huge blood clots also my left ovary was bigger than my already very large uterus and was full with blood. I had to have emergency surgery and a big blood transfusion because I was very close to death. It was VERY scary experience to go through at only seventeen let alone any age but I thank God he kept me alive! But, the doctors didn’t know why this had happened but if you look at the side effects of Depo Provera it says big bloods clots and many many more scary things. I just wanted to share my experience with you all and hope it helps or maybe saves someone’s life!
