A friend (not glow) asks your opinion on a baby name you

A friend, someone you know asks your opinion on their baby name the have picked out do you (I’m sure it’s going to depend on the friend, but just says it’s a friend not a close one but not someone you just completely don’t know)

-Give them your honest opinion even if you don’t like it

-Just say you like it even if you didn’t

-Don’t say anything about the name at all

I’m just curious if someone asked your opinion would you worry about offending them since they asked.

I had someone ask and had a list of names and asked my opinion on them(like 10 names). Out of the list there was one I didn’t like. I told her the name I wasn’t fond of and why. I wasn’t rude, didn’t trash the name. If you want to know it was Braiden and I said it sounds like a county way of braiding someone’s hair. No offense to anyone it’s just not my favorite name. Anyways she went with Jayden. (This was during the -Aiden popularity time) but gave me a look like I shot her cat. I from then on just tell everyone I like their names. (Though it’s all been true).
