BLW a few days early?

Question

Did anyone start BLW a few days before their baby turned 6 months? My son turns 6 months on Wednesday but I was wondering if it would be okay to start BLW 5 days early? He is showing signs he is ready and he sits up unassisted.

We gave ours green beans tonight while we had them with dinner...but he's also 6 months tomorrow. He's been joining us at the table all week and playing with utensils...he knows how to use a spoon correctly so I'm going to do some loaded spoons tomorrow when he's "official" and see how it goes
