Possible Break In
The other day, I came home to find our dogs in the garage. I left through the front door, so someone had to have let them out. When I got inside I noticed a bedroom door opened. No one believed that someone had been inside.
The next day, we realize our roommate’s fishing rod is gone. It hasn’t been moved for months. Guess where it used to be... the garage.
Today, I was out in the garage (home alone) when I hear the dogs absolutely lose it. I thought I heard someone inside, but it was time for our roommate to get home for lunch so I assumed it was him. It sounded like they were jumping up on him as he walked through the house.
When I went inside, they were alone. Looking down the hallway that has two doors, one for the garage and one for the basement.
The dogs still seemed on edge and all 9 pups we just had were freaking out like crazy. I could not calm them down.
My fiancé came home to check the house because he works about 3 minutes from home and I didn’t want to call the cops over nothing. I hate dealing with cops.
He didn’t find anyone in the house. Even though I swear I heard a noise from the basement or at least the other side of the house.
I’m home alone again, and every noise I hear is making me panic. My heart is racing and my baby is moving around and kicking me a ton every time I start to panic.
I really don’t want to be home alone today. I don’t know what’s going on. I don’t know for sure if someone was in the house today, but if someone’s been in here before it’s someone the dogs know and will let inside.
So, I’ll be laying down with a knife in my hand anxiously listening to every little noise for the rest of the day.
