At what age did you or are you planning to put your baby in daycare?

3 months when I went back to work.

I put my oldest in at 2 years old, just 2 days a week for the socialization. I may do that with my daughter too, I think it’s good for them.

Right now my plan is to return to work when my oldest is almost 4 and the little one is 2.5. BUT if my husband promotes at all before then I will stay home til both kids are in kindergarten.

When he's 2 or 3 (they only allow 2 year olds if theres spaces left after the 3 year olds enroll) I plan to put him in a nursery school so he can be around more children his own age while learning stuff. I don't work though, I'll probably go to university when he's going to nursery because I'm going to be starting a university preparation course next year. Never went because of a sleep disorder but having my son really has motivated me to get a move on.

My son has been in daycare since 6 weeks old when I had to return to work. He loves it.

We have had a nanny since around 4 months old so he’s never been to true “daycare”. Starting in June I’ll become a SAHM, and in august his little sister will be born so we may transition to a day or so a week at a day care for play time for him.

I’m a teacher and am lucky that  both my mother and mother in law are retired so they watch my son. I’m debating if I want to start daycare part time next school year so he can be around kids. If I don’t start next year then I will wait until he is 2 and just have my mom and in law take him to play groups at the library.
